DyVrse is planning on doing some interesting things with some old/damaged books this winter. After much thought and consideration, we’ve decided to experiment with altered books making scrapbooks, art books, lampshades, and even book purses. It’s raining book pages but it’s fun! This week and last week’s meetings have been art related. We’re getting ready for Santa’s Workshops, which we’re participating in with the children’s program. Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled day! And for those focusing on our book topics (not the recycled books!) our current read is “Gallows Hill” by Lois Duncan.
